Sims 4 Neighbour Stories Coming Next Week
New free content, which actually brings fun gameplay?
Some exciting news has unfolded about a brand new release coming to the sims 4 as a series of free updates.
Cue Neighbourhood stories.
Sim guru PJ - producer - and Nate game designer of the Sims 4 came on a video to explain a little about what to expect.
So what is Neighbourhood stories?
The first update will bring a fun set of features that promise to breathe life into the sims around you.
Imagine being able to influence Eliza Pancakes to reproduce with poor old Bob! Yes, your neighbours can have babies, change jobs, ask for advice on things such as the friends they should make.
Does this update affect all sims?
The neighbours who are included in this update are all NPCs in-game to whom your sim has a somewhat established relationship.
There are a select few special sims that will not be affected by this update such as death since he already has a pretty important job after all. You know whipping out his tablet and whisking the dead away for ALL eternity.
There are other life changes, that your neighbours can initiate on their own but the sims team wanted the players to have a good amount of control so that the whole game does not go into chaos. What does this mean? It means you will have a good amount of influence on the final outcome of these stories but not always so it's not always so predictable.
There will be two new aspirations arriving in relation to this patch update,
- Villainous valentine - this is a deviant aspiration, these sims revel in destroying others love lives and their own
- Neighbour confidante - these sims are a helpful and positive influence in the lives of others
You can ask sims to break up with their beloved spouse and if they hate you for that advice you can break down those relationships too. This brings a more realistic aspect to the game
When is the update released?
This will be released next Tuesday, November 30, 2021! and another series of updates will be added to really flesh out this system.
In future releases, they will be building out a larger system, which will involve sims across the whole world. So stay tuned for more updates.
