Update On Non-Binary Pronouns Progress For The Sims 4
What's the scoop?
The sims team mentioned in a recent Livestream that they are busy researching global language characteristics and collecting data to decide where the changes need to be made before introducing non-binary pronouns.
The introduction to this change is still a long way off from being in the game, but in January 2022 there will be a fireside chat with members of the development team to share behind the scene progress for this new implementation. They will discuss the recent research they have made, talk more about their partnerships with external experts and the work in progress wireframes.
(P.S: a wireframe is a visualisation of your GDD or any design concept. Wireframes are an opportunity to give deeper detail about something that can be tied to a specific feature for how it works or should behave.)
I had to share that last bit because I did not know what a wireframe was, and thought others might not know too!
